When a loved one gets sick, we all know to call the doctor or go to the hospital. But when those loved ones are animals, it can be more difficult: who can you call in the knowledge that your animals will always receive the care and expertise whatever the hour? The answer is Minster Veterinary Centre.
Our dedicated team of veterinary surgeons are here to help with all animals ranging from pets to livestock.
We provide a comprehensive service for companion animals and backyard pets, including a BVA board certified ophthalmologist and our own out of hours service from our own sites.
Minster Veterinary Centre offer first opinion and ambulatory equine care with a dedicated equine unit 2 days a week for performance and lameness investigation. We provide a full production animal service including herd/flock health planning, routine tuberculin testing, ambulatory care and out of hours services.
Outside of normal opening hours, in cases of emergency please call 0115 9312 986. An answer phone will take your message and alert our vets who will contact you as soon as possible.
When leaving an answer phone message please speak clearly and leave a phone number for the vet to call you back. Please say the contact phone number slowly and clearly to allow the vet to write it down as they may be out on calls.
If you have not had a returned phone call in 15 minutes, please call and leave a second message. The vets on call may be dealing with other emergencies, but they will get back to you.
