Brunswick Organic Nursery offers workplace opportunities for adults with learning difficulties. We also have a farm shop on site which stocks our own & local suppliers produce.
Brunswick Organic Nursery ( Charity reg 1010178) celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Please keep checking our website for various events throughout 2012 e.g. our Open Day on Saturday 8th September from 11-4pm. We also have a Craft Fair in November.
We offer various productive activities for adults with learning difficulties and sell our produce in our on site shop. Hand made cards, wrapping paper, rugs, jewellery and of course various plants, fruit trees and vegetables. We also have a floristry service.
Our shop became a “Community Interest Company” on 1st April 2011 – Brunswick of York CIC. Profits made from trade in the shop are passed to the Brunswick charity. We also offer a weekly veg box scheme and if you are interested in joining please get in touch.
We have an offsite gardening team which caters for regular or one-off gardening projects, from general tidy-up to planning and designing gardens. We also make raised beds and install to suit your specific needs.
