Cleckheaton Golf Club, a members-only club, thrives with an engaged membership, a welcoming clubhouse ambiance, and a vibrant junior division. A century ago, the renowned golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie envisioned the existing golf course and was officially unveiled on the 29th of July in 1922. The course at Cleckheaton Golf Club spans 6,155 yards and is a picturesque parkland, offering both White and Yellow tees for men and a dedicated red course for women. The club maintains an ongoing enhancement initiative, ensuring a constantly evolving and improved course. Golf enthusiasts can anticipate encountering 18 stimulating holes, among which is one of the lengthiest par threes in Yorkshire. The challenging Par 3 holes are significant in their Men’s and Women’s Courses. Cleckheaton Golf Club also prides itself on delivering high-quality dining options, featuring restaurant-grade cuisine and a selection of cask ales.
