John Webster started out in Elvington over 33 years ago producing purpose-made joinery for the public and building trade alike. A lot of products were manufactured by hand, from rough saw timber to a high quality finish, using limited machinery. We still employ these same traditional methods today and have a full team of 6 staff and enjoy a reputation as a credible and highly recommended joinery firm.
We produce bespoke joinery for both the public and building trade, and carry out extensive work for recommended architects and architectural designers. Recently, we have completed work for the York Trust and Castle Howard.
Employing a modern, fully-extracted working environment with extensive machinery and tools, we can now create traditional and modern mouldings for any copy or design using top quality materials such as oak, mahogany, beech, teak, and pine.
Our customers take comfort knowing that their unique and individual commissions are built to their own specification.
