We are a family run business situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the North of England.

We offer a wide variety of dishes here at The View, ranging from delicious Monkfish Skewers to our Homemade Pizza’s. All our dishes are made fresh to order and we pride ourselves on the quality of our food.

Come in the morning and you can enjoy our wide range of breakfast options from the traditional full English…or if you’re feeling healthy try our granola or scotch porridge. We also serve breakfast sandwiches with any filling of your choosing alongside peppered mackerel and salmon dishes.

Wash your breakfast down with one of our delicious artistic coffee’s whilst taking in the breath taking views of our coastline. Our coffees are calibrated daily by our very own Head Barista, so you can expect the perfect balance of flavour and strength with every drink.

Early bird? We open our doors at 8.00 am and you can enjoy one of our delicious homemade scones or wide variety of homemade cakes!

We don’t take bookings, just show up and we will look after you.

We are dog friendly on our terrace outside the restaurant, they are fitted with canopies and heaters and our outside beach huts are all fitted with heat lamps to keep you feeling cosy on them colder days!
