A warm welcome awaits you at our independent cafe in Cowick Street, St Thomas. We offer the best coffee in Exeter, freshly ground to order, a range of teas to enjoy with our legendary cooked breakfasts and locally produced soft drinks from Luscombes and Frobishers. Hot or cold snacks are available, sandwiches, home made savoury flans, paninis, jacket potatoes, soups and Toms Pies. Our scones. cakes and traybakes are handmade on the premises. We are family and breastfeeding friendly, and well behaved dogs are also welcome!!
We use local food producers and suppliers wherever we can. All of our sausages, bacon and ham are supplied from Courtenays in Cowick Street, one of the oldest established butchers in Exeter. We use free range eggs and our bread is baked by the Surfing Bakers in Shaldon.
We offer free wifi for our customers’ use, and display local artwork on the walls. Cafe jazz plays in the background. A local bookseller also displays antique and out of print books for sale
