Welcome to Kuki’s Tandoori Dhaba!
A dhaba is a traditional roadside restaurant where communities come to meet eat and put the world to rights long into the night. It’s the real taste of the Punjab. Simple, traditional, artisan food based around the tandoor.
And I’m Kuki – a British-born Brighton living Panjabi who’s dreamt of bringing the dhaba experience here. My first times in a dhaba were on holidays as a kid in India. Dhaba culture become part of me and a passion I needed to bring to life.
I’ve trained in India to make sure what you taste is as authentic as it can be. And now we’re here right in the heart of Kemptown in Shortt’s Bar – the perfect place to come together for food, music and conversation.
I hope that you enjoy our food. It’s made with love, care and with a bit of fire in our bellies as all good food should be.
