We are a family run day nursery caring and educating children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We can offer funded, half or full day and term time only places.
Ladybird Children’s Nursery – Scotswood is on the edge of central Newcastle it is a purpose-built nursery situated on Scotswood Road.
It is conveniently situated close to major bus routes. Our nursery has four well equipped base rooms and one large outside play area, which is a rarity for a city centre nursery. Our team of experienced childcare professionals work closely with parents to support the learning and development of their child, including play and learning at home ideas to support them in reaching their full potential.
We provide care and education for children from 3 months until 5 years. Our opening hours are 07.30am – 18.00pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.
We provide a friendly and welcoming feel to ensure the children feel safe and secure whilst in the care of our highly qualified staff team. The children learn and develop through the stimulating activities provided which offer a wide range of learning opportunities. Each child’s key person builds strong bonds with their key children following their individual care routine and providing for their holistic needs.
The day nursery also provides support to children with special needs and liaises with external agencies to ensure appropriate support is given. We will be delighted to welcome you to Ladybird Children’s Nursery – Scotswood.
We are delighted to have achieved a Good at our last Ofsted inspection and 5 stars from the Food Standards Agency, Scores on the Doors.
We provide all wipes, nappies, formula milk and food fully inclusive of the fees.
Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.
