Why use a Chartered Accountant ?
Legally anyone can call themselves an accountant and not have any training. - Check they offer the services that you require
- Ask for their fee structure and
- Ask who at the firm is undertaking your work
- Look for the letters ACA or FCA after their name
- Ask if your first consultation is
- Ask for a copy of their terms after your meeting
- Check if they are authorised for specialist work
- Ask for references and speak to existing clients
