Community run – for love, not for profit – The Art House is an arts venue, café and gallery in the heart of Southampton.
The Art House Gallery Café is a cultural melting pot for arts in Southampton. Located in Above Bar Street on two floors, we are a welcoming, vibrant and charmingly quirky arts venue, run for love and not for profit and provide Southampton city centre with a friendly, creative meeting place.
The Gallery our walls are always filled with local artwork to inspire, uplift and sometimes challenge our visitors! Works are often for sale, so come in and browse a selection of fine art and crafts.
The Café – serves Organic Fairtrade Mozzo coffee, as well as a range of fruit, herbal and organic teas, soft drinks and fruit juices. Our delicious vegetarian lunches include a selection hot and cold meals, including homemade soup with freshly baked bread, homemade hummus and pitta, homemade savoury muffins, or Ziggy’s delicious homemade pasties.
